Use QR codes for business cards etc

Norfolk Design Studio business card

Quick Response codes (QR codes for short) are similar to barcodes on products that are scanned. They can be used to hold information such as phone numbers, email and website addresses. If you have a smartphone then you can use an app to scan the QR code. Scanning a code that contains a web site address will enable you to launch your browser taking you directly to the relevant site, for example. We wanted new business cards with a simple design that was in keeping with our website. We decided to use a QR code containing our URL norfolkdesignstudio.co.uk instead of developing a logo.

There are plenty of QR code generators available, we chose qrstuff.com as it was straight forward and easy to use.

See wikipedia for more information on QR codes.
